The objective of the course:
This course aims at empowering healthcare professionals, administrators, and nursing staff in the field of infection control and prevention. There is a need for such trained professionals who can improve the clinical outcomes, especially in critical care areas and improve the infection track of hospitals and supplement the clinicians to control infection.
This course is designed in a manner that includes both theoretical and practical ways of learning. At the end of the course, you will develop a better understanding, knowledge, and skill set to control infection in the healthcare environment.
Course Duration:
» Weekend Module
» 3 months
› 10 weeks of theory + 2 weeks of practical/on-job training
› 40 hours of Theory (4 hrs. per week) + 30 hours of practical 8 hrs. per week for 1 month). Total 70 hours
Evaluation of Participants:
» It will be a 100 marks exam (60 marks theory + 40 marks Practical)
